visual advocacy

It's a new year; this means new challenges and new strategies to tackle. I think my largest challenge will be to become a visual advocate. This will mean I must use design to tackle issues, not products, and learn when to get personal with the issues our world has and how to fix them.

Upon doing socio/economic/political research, I stumbled upon a few things that made my blood boil. In particular, regional cases where "hate" or intolerance was involved. That isn't the worst part of these cases. There is an utter lack of accessible victim services to help survivors of violent acts to physical and mental support.

I think that I have found an issue to make personal, now I'm waiting for the next step.
