Pie Chart Revisions
I reshot my pie image with better lighting and an unfocused background. This was an attempt to solve some legibility issues I had encountered in the last version with text being illegible. I also changed the color of some of the lettering and the lines to bright white to really make them pop out.
I really hope the pie appears more appetizing in this version.

Infographic Mania part deux
After attempting to reconfigure my infographic and making a really dry mess of it, I had a really constructive meeting with Jaime and am exploring a semi new direction for my infograph. I'm attempting to use a visual pun to represent my charts as well as the humorous subject matter I've been tackling.
Here are some pieces so far:
I like the idea of a physical pie, but not this background, or uncut.
The physical cuts in the pie are too subtle.
I dig the vector lines, but there is not enough room on this page to really attack the idea of an infograph. It would also look strange to have this image plopped to one side of the page with white space around it.
I think we've got something here... we'll see :)

INFOGRAPHIC MANIA!!!!!!!
Here is the rough draught of my infographic. I decided to pursue the "true cost of the American Dream." I'm also showing how much of the american dream can be purchased at Wal-Mart. What is more Patriotic than spending your bucks on marginal quality imported goods at a big box store?1)Title of Infograph
2)Introduction of what’s included in the infograph
3)Category Comparisons
4)Iconic Representations
5)Variable Information
6)Category Breakdowns
Detail shots on my flickr account.
